Straitway Truth, Healing and Deliverance Ministry — Canada & International
My name is Brother Steve Lesperance, and I serve as the Head of Canada for Straitway Truth, Healing and Deliverance Ministry. I also help lead and gather through Straitway International for scattered saints who are seeking biblical fellowship, order, accountability, and connection where there may not be a local assembly near them.
My faith is rooted in the Most High YAH, the God of Israel, and in the whole counsel of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. I believe in repentance, holiness, obedience, deliverance, healing, biblical order, and the testimony of Yahshua/Jesus the Messiah. I believe true faith is not only spoken, but lived through obedience, fruit, discipline, humility, and endurance.
We are a Torah-observant, Sabbath-honouring, commandment-keeping fellowship. We do not identify as a traditional denomination or casual church system. We seek to walk as a set-apart people, honouring YAH’s commandments, His Sabbath, His appointed Feast Days, and the biblical pattern of family, fellowship, leadership, and community.
Straitway Truth, Healing and Deliverance Ministry is under the leadership of our Head Pastor, Pastor Charles Dowell, along with Pastor Corey Phillips and Pastor Daniel Muir. The ministry also has elders, deacons, teachers, and community heads who help maintain biblical order, support the saints, teach, serve, and address matters within the body. We are accountable first to the Most High YAH, and all matters are handled under proper biblical order, under Yahshua/Jesus the Messiah.
Our Canadian and International fellowship is primarily home-based, family-centered, and community-focused. We gather scattered saints through in-person fellowship, online connection, prayer, teaching, communication, accountability, and connection with the greater Straitway body. Because many sincere believers are scattered and isolated, our burden is to help connect those who truly desire truth, order, and fellowship.
We believe in biblical headship, biblical marriage, righteous family structure, modesty, accountability, discipline, correction, and love proven by action. We believe men are called to lead, protect, provide, serve, and be accountable before YAH. We believe women are to be honoured, protected, respected, and strengthened in their God-given role within the home and community. We believe children are to be taught, protected, disciplined, and raised in the fear and instruction of YAH.
We are open to sincere people who are humble, teachable, respectful, and truly seeking YAH. However, because our fellowship is home-based and includes families, women, and children, we use discernment and proper vetting before connecting new people into fellowship. This is not to reject sincere souls, but to protect the peace, safety, holiness, and order of the body.
My intent in being listed in the Biblical Communities directory is to help sincere believers find a fellowship that is rooted in Scripture, repentance, Sabbath keeping, commandment keeping, deliverance, healing, biblical family order, accountability, and real community. I believe many people are searching for more than religion, tradition, or church as usual. They are looking for truth, order, correction, fellowship, and a people who are serious about serving YAH.
My desire is not to build numbers for the sake of numbers. My desire is to help gather those who are serious about walking in truth, obedience, holiness, and endurance. I want to represent our community clearly, honestly, and in proper order so that those who are sincerely seeking YAH, His commandments, and biblical fellowship may be able to find us and connect through the proper channels.
